ANISOARA CUSMIR-STANCIU had a purple patch only very few in the History of Sport can lay claim…between 1982-1983, she sensationally bettered the Women’s Long Jump World Record FOUR TIMES [7.15m | 7.21m | 7.27m | 7.43m]!!!🌟🌟🌟🌟
CUSMIR-STANCIU capitalised on that success by also winning Olympic GOLD in 1984!!!🥇🙌
More recently, she became President of the Romanian Athletics Federation in 2021 and she remains an incredible 4th on the Women’s Long Jump All-Time List for distance with her 7.43m [1.4 m/s] PB from 1983…🙌
