Into the Women’s LONG JUMP Top 5 with 3x WORLD RECORD HOLDER, TATYANA SHCHELKANOVA…🔥👇

SHCHELKANOVA was a revelation in the Women’s Long Jump during the early 1960’s; advancing the WORLD RECORD in 1961 [6.48m], again in 1962 [6.53m], and for a THIRD time in 1964 [6.70m]!!!🌟🌟🌟

SHCHELKANOVA dominated the Women’s Long Jump until meeting the incredible MARY RAND at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, where a 6.76m jump in the fifth round erased her World Record and resulted in Bronze…🥉

In the style of a Champion, SHCHELKANOVA bounced back strongly the year after and was again the World no.1 in 1965 and 1966, before retiring to draw down the curtain on a sensational career that, on top on her incredible 3x World Records, saw her achieve European Long Jump GOLD [Indoor & Outdoor] and 5x GOLDS at the World University Games in the Long Jump [1961, 1963 & 1965], the 100m [1961], and even the Pentathlon [1965]!!!✊
