A TWO-TIME 400m World Record Breaker, McKENLEY was an awesome all-round Sprinter, to the extent that alongside his 400m Olympic Silvers [1948 & 1952], he also won Olympic Silver in the 100m [1952] & GOLD in the 4x400m [1952]!!!🥇🥈🥈🥈
In addition, McKENLEY was a FOUR-TIME GOLD medallist at the NCAAs for Illinois in the 200m & 400m, completing the back-to-back 200/400m Double in both 1946 & 1947!!!🔥
Inducted into the University of Illinois Athletics Hall of Fame in 2017, he remains the only man to have made the Olympic Final for the 100m, 200m & 400m!!!✊
